I've met a lot of great people and new friends during this year and I hope I manage to stay in toutch with them.
After the summer I'm moving to Oslo to study litterature. I bet it's going to be very interesting (or so I hope). I'm going to get the keys to my on Tuesday and I'm really looking foreward to take a closer look at the place.
I also got me a summer job (finally). I'm helping out at a local home for old people with mental disabilities. It's actually a pretty good job with many nice people, despite the fact that I have to help people who can even wash themselves. But they are greatfull and it feels rewarding to help them. It also makes me think a lot on how some of us are born just a tad luckier than others, that I could easily have been like them or end up as them if I get alzheimers or something... But they are all very nice people and I think I will enjoy this job.
In other news, I've seen Drag Me To Hell, which was awesome. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time and definitly one of the best horror-movies I've seen ever. I'm a hugh fan of the Evil Dead movies, and the same Raimi-magic is in this movie. Rarely have I been so scared and laughed so hard because of one movie. You should definitly go see it. The only thing it lacks is a cameo from Bruce Cambell and maybe a few changes to the ending. That would have made the movie perfect.
Tomorrow I'm going to see Brüno with my friends. I thought Borat was awesome and if this movie is just half as good, then it will still be a great time.
I also went crazy when I went to a Gamestop looking for Shadow of the Collosus. I've been looking almost everywhere for that game after I finished ICO (which is one of the best games EVER), but I have yet to find it (I guess I'll have to buy it online). But what I DID find was a lot of great used games, like Okami, Kya, Beyond Good and Evil and others. I ended up with buying 7 games for just 480 norwegian kroner, which in my eyes is a pretty good deal.
Still, my search for SOTC continues.That's all for now. I wish you all a great summer.
